2019 Ktm 450 xcf oil change. Hey guys just bought a 2019 xcf used has 5 hours on it and I need to change the oil. Converting this thing into my Snowbike, I didn't get a manual with it. Is the drain bolt located in the same location as my 18 350 SX-F and does it hold the 1.1 liters like the 350?

The KTM 's keep the motor oil and tranny oil in separate chambers. I run Maxima Maxum4 Ultra - full synthetic (5W40) in the motor and a synthetic blend in the tranny (at my dealers recommendation). He states the synthetic blend is better for the clutch. Maxima products are second to none. KTM recommends the same oil (sythetic) for both engine

After you do regular maintenance of oil change and valve checking. 1) Pull the stator cover and check it every 1000-1500 miles. If there is a valve train issue, it will be stuck to your pulse coil or flywheel. 2) Get cam cam chain press and extra master link. 3) Replace cam bearings at 3000 miles or so.
