🎈 Bmw E61 Idrive Not Working

My iDrive doesn't fully turn on. It just turns on, shows the bmw logo for a few seconds, then turns off. It will randomly do this on and off while driving. Can't play music from cd any time, and it won't eject. The little dial/knob that controls iDrive is free-spinning. Tried checking if MPM was fried. It was not.

^{I accessed the iDrive hidden menu (push and hold iDrive controller forward for 15 sec, 3 clicks right, 3 left, 1 right, 1 left, 1 right then press down), then into Settings and at the bottom the Service menu had appeared.
